Digital Product UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a talented Digital Product UI/UX Designer to join the Bethel Church Creative Team to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and thoughtful design, possess superior UI/UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and prototypes, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Execute design projects intended for websites, HubSpot emails, social media, and other digital mediums.
• Update and maintain web-based products for the organization.
• Collaborate with Creative and Communications teams and web developer to define and implement innovative solutions for digital products direction, visuals and experience
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developer
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user centered design to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

• Proven UI experience
• Strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and prototypes
• Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping (preferred but not required)
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-centered interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• 2+ years experience or BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
• Experience working in a simplified Agile development process
• 40 hours per week, full time with benefits
