Product Designer

Rex Teams is founded and led by Peter Rex, and consists of companies (i.e. Teams) which are tech driven, investment focused, operationally intensive and or media related. Rex Teams is currently in various degrees of incubation with a number of tech-driven companies and is looking to hire a Product Designer to help lead the development of a stealth-mode company in the real estate tech space.

In Year One You Will

• Work directly with the product + engineering team to launch the MVP app for iOS/Android/web
• Design groundwork for API interactions + app-store requirements for 3rd-party developers
• Prioritize strategic roadmap for product-expansion + critical design elements with exec team
• Execute on bi-weekly design sprints while working more closely with product team + front-end-devs
• Provide structured thinking for our user-research, information-architecture, & interaction-design

The Ideal Product Designer For Our Team

• Has high flexibility, grit and backbone and is able to deal with ambiguity in a high speed startup environment
• Has been obsessed with digital-design in personal + professional life for >10 years
• Has 3-4 years experience in an IC UX role at a fast-growth startup or globally dominant tech company
• Studied HCI rigorously at a top product-design university, with an incredible portfolio to show for it
• Has some expertise in user research, information architecture, and interaction design
• Pursues excellence in all they do and would be a great fit with our founding team + all leaders
• Creates delightful on-line + off-line experiences through simple, elegant, user-focused interfaces
• Pays an extreme level of attention to detail, removing all possible friction from their products
