This role will be part of the International Growth team, a segment within Shopify with the mission to make commerce better for everyone...everywhere.
We’re always on the lookout for people who are excited to work on hard problems at a global scale in a friendly, collaborative environment. If this sounds familiar, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work directly with a globally distributed, multidisciplinary team of Brand Strategists, Marketing Specialists, Content Strategists and Front-End Developers to help grow the number of customers using Shopify and the reach of Shopify’s brand in APAC.

You and the other members of the team will constantly work to improve how we position Shopify to our merchants in APAC and create compelling content that resonates with our audiences. Working on multiple types of projects at once, you’ll have to be good at managing your time and priorities as well as resourceful and flexible. We are a friendly, collaborative team, who leave their ego at the door, focussed on creating high-quality experiences that grow Shopify above everything else.

You’ll be working with:

    • Product Marketing
    • Communications
    • Growth

    • Optimize the effectiveness of our marketing properties & activations
    • Champion projects to ensure that they are progressing at a high quality

    • The ability to prioritize simultaneous project requests from various teams
    • A soft spot for the end user - advocating for them in all areas of your work is core to what you do

    • The desire to drive creative through an end to end UX process, including research, ideation, iteration, and validation
    • Experience designing and shipping experiences for international audiences, with a focus on Asia Pacific countries

    • Proficiency with design & prototyping tools (Sketch, Photoshop, etc), as well as knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • A passion for solving design problems while wearing multiple hats and owning all facets of design (content strategy, wireframing, art direction, and interaction design)
    • Exceptional UI abilities shown in an extensive portfolio of projects
    • Knowledge and familiarity with a data informed approach to design -- you’ve used tools and resources needed to measure success of design decisions (A/B testing tools, Google Analytics, etc.)
