The UX Designer will be an integral member of the user experience team and will be leading design initiatives across GetWellNetwork’s entire platform of products. This individual will engage with teams across all disciplines to ensure we deliver innovative products and services within an Agile framework. The UX Designer will also plan, facilitate, and lead sessions related to user research, user experience, and interactive prototyping.

This position will be based out of our Bethesda, MD office. 10-20% travel required. During our interview process, an online portfolio of UX samples will be requested.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner closely with Product Management and Development teams to strategize a project plan to execute against
  • Lead in the creation of visual design system to take our applications to the next level
  • Partake in discovery and ideation sessions to help understand the user, business, and client needs
  • Develop solutions through rapid prototyping techniques
  • Create and provide UX deliverables including lo-fi wireframes, hi-fi mock-ups, and clickable prototypes
  • Employ user-centered design methods to develop user interface specifications such as interaction models and workflows
  • Help define design value by identifying user needs, actions, behaviors, and emotions
  • Effectively communicate ideas, opportunities, and detail interaction to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create user personas and actively support user testing and analysis of results
  • Conduct audits and heuristic evaluation
  • Participate in the creation of style guides and champion UX standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Graphic Design, User Interaction, Human-Centered Design, Advertising or related field
  • 5+ years of UX experience
  • Experience with rapid prototyping in one or more tools (i.e. Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD)
  • Experience working with product managers and engineering teams to design and launch mobile applications for iOS, Android, and web applications
  • Ability to turn user requirements into easy-to-use, visually pleasing experiences
  • Ability to take a concept from sketch to final implementation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about excellence and attention to detail
