Join an independent software development company on a mission to bring automation to estimators worldwide!
We’re an energetic, fun team based in London and with a customer base that has doubled in the past two years and we’re expanding too.
What kind of person are we looking for?
We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join us on our quest to make the world’s most loved construction software.
Until now our development team has made any design decisions with direction from the company founders, but the time has come to bring in an expert to ensure our user interfaces are as good as the products behind them.
We’re ideally looking for someone with experience of developing a new software product and taking it to market, but ability and attitude is more important than experience - being able to methodically tackle a UX problem, align with the vision of our founders and turn that vision into beautiful design concepts.
You should be a self-starter, with great verbal and written communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment. You'll be comfortable bringing new ideas to the table and confidently able to lead and project manage all design related activities.
What will the role invole?
We want you to be our design lead for everything, so whilst the role will predominantly be for our flagship products it will also encompass our retail website, marketing materials and branding.
As we don’t currently have a designer this a real opportunity to make the role your own - decide which design programmes to use, the best ways of working with the development team and hopefully, in the near future, start to grow and build your own team.
We’re a relatively small company so you’ll work collaboratively with all members across the business from tech, to sales and customer success. You will need to immerse yourself in the product and really get to grips with our construction customers - their user behaviour, what they like and don't like and how the UI can improve and add value.
What will you get from us?
Along with a competitive salary you’ll also benefit from:
- Flexible remote working
- 25 days holiday, plus your birthday
- Paid sabbatical (one month off for every three years you're with the company)
- Gym membership
- Regular team socials
