As we continue to innovate and define the sector, we are looking for a talented and passionate Product Designer to join the team. You will take part in the full life cycle of product design, visual/interaction design, and usability testing. Core Responsibilities

    • Work with Executives, Product Managers, Engineering, and UX Designers to define and drive the user experience of the BrightEdge platform 
    • Create new product designs including (but not limited to) user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes that are simple, intuitive, yet sophisticated to solve complex problems 
    • Partner with Product team to generate high quality mockups while referring to user journey map 
    • Lead UX research engagements with customers and include appropriate testing mechanisms in the design process 
    • Stagger design hand-offs with detailed spec to optimize design and development time 
    • Collaborate with engineer and QA leads to ensure implementation follows the design spec and provide support in execution 
    • Own key product designs as an individual contributor and set the tone for the holistic enterprise system 
    • Validate product design with key stakeholders 
    • Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts 
    • Be an advocate for UX Design and Design Thinking in practice 
    • Assist in setting roadmap, defining UX strategy and vision for our enterprise platform 

What it takes to be successful

    • BS/BA or MS in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Graphic Design or related field 
    • 3+ years of work experience in a related position  
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of UX best practices for web-design and touch-screen apps, especially for consumer segment 
    • Experience in conducting UX research and fluency in user centric design  
    • Proven track record of creating successful design for self-service software launches 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to clearly explain product designs providing rationale for your design decisions 
    • Experience in building and shipping applications or software that includes designing reusable UI components with a cohesive platform framework 
    • Must have a portfolio that shows examples of your UX and UI design 
    • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript 
    • Background in analytics is preferred
