What you'll be doing
- Understand the expectations of the designers and product managers and transform them into simple, clear, and elegant product copy
- Be a user champion and create copy that would thrill our target audience through every step of their journey
- Work together with the stakeholders and bring their vision to life through delightful copy
- Write copy for irresistible CTAs, precise notifications, unmistakable warnings and alerts, and informative tooltips, to create unforgettable user experiences every day
- Champion Paxful’s tone of voice across the product and create a consistent experience for our users
- Work closely with the localization team to ensure that the essence of your copy is not lost in translation
- Work with UX analysts to evaluate and validate your copy ideas and to identify areas of improvement
- Review and iterate on your copy with a strong belief that perfection is a journey and not a destination
- Help evangelize content design within Paxful so we have everybody thinking about great copy
- Work within the writing guidelines mentioned in our Paxful Copy Style Guide and Brand Voice guide, and challenge them to constantly improve and update the way we communicate with our users
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 3 years experience in technical writing, UX writing, copywriting or product content design
- Degree in English, journalism, HCI, computer engineering, or other related fields
- A native or near-native speaker (CEFR Level - C2) with excellent command over the English language
- A strong understanding of the rules and nuances of product copywriting, user experience, usability, and design thinking
- A problem solver with a critical mindset backed by years of experience reviewing and editing your own work as well as that of others for grammar, style and tone
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-direct and multitask effectively
- Ability to listen, understand and translate requirements into actionable items
- A humble collaborator and team player who loves bouncing ideas and constantly improving the quality of the written output
- Experience working in an ever-changing environment, chasing and meeting very tight deadlines without loss in quality of output
- Ability to visualize potential copy ideas, package them and present them to stakeholders convincingly
- Hawk-like attention and an excellent eye for detail
