The Role

Reporting to the UX Lead, a highly skilled UX/UI designer who will help improve and innovate our world-class products through their expert knowledge of user-centered design that drives results through qualitative and quantitative research. This candidate should be obsessed with having deep empathy for our customers, an equally strong understanding of our business goals and intimate knowledge of our technical capabilities. They should be experienced in lean UX and design thinking frameworks - focusing on rapid experimentation and measurement with cross-discipline collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Strong candidates should facilitate and lead user experience projects from start-to-finish that deliver impactful results. Facilitates and leads design-thinking discussions to inform UX strategies by determining research methodologies, target customers, assumption validation and rapid design execution. 
  • In an open and collaborative environment, you’ll be responsible for leading discovery, user/market research, competitive analysis, user testing, stakeholder/client interviews, surveys, desirability studies, A/B testing, card sorting, analytics tools, and data analysis.
  • Expert at distilling complex information and workflows into simple solutions. A Senior UX Designer should be highly experienced in information architecture, flowcharts, wireframes, hi-fidelity designs, prototyping, pattern libraries, design systems, persona creation, customer experience maps.
  • Communicate feedback, deliverables, and recommendations with all relevant teams and management.
  • Proficient in Agile product development, scrums, sprints and Jira software to communicate timelines, planning, status, deliverables, and daily updates.
  • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities. 
  • Minimum 5 years of UX design experience (and the portfolio to prove it) as a key, hands-
  • on UX team member through the product development cycle of a successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a strong user experience guild.
  • Conduct & facilitate design requirements, UX and visual QA reviews.
  • Skill sets
  • Expert in Sketch, InVision, interaction design, pattern libraries, and scalable design systems, paper/whiteboard sketching, paper prototyping. 
  • Ability to defend your design decisions. Strong communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams, internal and external stakeholders, and management.
  • You are curious and love to learn new things with a passion for understanding current and emerging UX trends.

 Requirements

  • Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities.
  • Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI UX.
  • Minimum 5 years of UX design experience (and the portfolio to prove it) as a key, hands-
  • on interaction/visual designer of a UI/UX team through the product development. 
  • Conduct & facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews.
