UI Designer

Responsibilities 

 

We want to develop amazing products fast and in high quality. You will join a  cross-functional team partnering with product owners, UX Researchers, Engineers, Designers, and UX Writers to develop products from concept to release and continuous improvement.

 

• Lead UI and visual design within your product team, from concept to production, including icons, illustrations, UI components, etc.
• Create mockups and interactive prototypes, working with developers to create production ready UI assets.
• Contribute to strategic product direction with product and management teams.
• Maintain and evolve our design system guidelines and workflows.

 

Requirements 

Crowdhouse is hiring at all levels. Whether you have two or more than ten years experience, we would love to hear from you. 

• Fluent in principles of user-centred design, focusing on the user and translating their needs into useful and delightful experiences.
• Experience designing digital products ideally within cross-functional product teams.
• Mastery of modern design tools like Sketch and Figma, along with other prototyping tools, like Framer X and inVision.
• Experience planning and contributing to modern component-based UI systems and frameworks.
• Strong communicator of design work, able to get buy-in from stakeholders by explaining the rationale behind proposals.
• Proactive self-starter who loves to collaborate.
• Experience in data-informed environments guiding product and design decisions.
• Thoughtful approach to assessing value and return on investment of efforts.
• A portfolio demonstrating production-ready product design across web, mobile, and email platforms.
• Excellent spoken and written English
