The UI Designer at Telnyx holds a key position representing our brand. We are looking for someone passionate who enjoys the challenge. You will be willing to learn, being comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for iterating on Telnyx’s existing marketing website, and work closely with Product Designers to ensure a consistent experience across our website and product(s). You’re comfortable working with a team to build the best possible experience that delights customers and showcases the power of our product(s).
In This Role You Will
- Produce a variety of visual design projects that consistently represent the brand in all digital channels. This includes but is not limited to: all forms of digital media, online advertising, social media, web, mobile, email, and digital screens.
- Create and annotate UI style kits and design guidelines in collaboration with other designers, both from scratch and from existing brand conventions.
- Strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions at a high velocity.
- Optimize existing user interface designs.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to test new ideas before implementing.
- Conduct user research to help guide your decision making process.
- Keep current with design trends and best practices; exploring new ideas and technologies to advance the Telnyx brand and properties.
You May Be A Fit If You Have
- Previous experience working as a UI designer for 2+ years.
- Portfolio that showcases your UI design projects.
- Comfortable creating in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate the why behind design decisions.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Team player.
- Good time management skills.
- Understanding of popular design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Customer focused.
- Familiarity in designing across multiple screen sizes and devices.
- The attitude of a constant learner, with an eagerness to dig into details.
