As a printed focused Visual Designer at Favor, you’ll join a roster of spirited creatives responsible for one of Texas's fastest growing brands. As part of Favor’s Brand Team you’ll collaborate with various teams across Favor to create impactful content for our audiences. A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Support a high volume of design needs that roll in from across the company
- Produce a variety of print + digital assets to support marketing + acquisition efforts, with a heavy emphasis on the print side
- Incorporate art + copy direction into your work
- Collaborate across a multi-faceted company to produce large-scale campaigns
IS IT YOU WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
- Able to understand and clarify requirements quickly
- Strong real world print experience
- Have a passion for layout, typography, and photography editing
- An exceptional eye for detail with exceptional organizational skills
- You’re experienced in designing for multiple audiences
- You’ve got a strong desire to grow and hone your skills quickly
- You’ve got a team player mentality. Check your ego at the door.
- Able to design within brand guidelines while also pushing the boundaries
- A passion for reading up and staying current on design trends
- You welcome constructive feedback from collaborators
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience working in a high volume design environment
- A portfolio that speaks for itself
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite tools
- Strong experience in Print, Packaging, & Real World production
- Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, & attention to detail
- Experience designing for digital with a passion for illustration
- Photo editing and composition skills
- Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
- Aptitude to work constructively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Experience with the ideation & creation of cross-functional marketing campaigns
SPECIAL SAUCE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
- BA or MFA degree in design
- Enjoy making and dishing out gifs at the appropriate time
- 3D rendering experience
- An understanding of UX/UI design
- Experience working with Sketch
