💡 What we need your help with:
Are you a Product Designer who is passionate about building a strong design culture? The Product Engineering team at Sqreen is currently looking to add a new Product Designer with strong experience in User Experience (UX). Partner very closely with our Principal Product Manager, Arnaud, as well as our first Product Designer, Romain. You’ll have the unique opportunity to explore and validate a new product line around security observability we call Observe. Currently, this product line is in it’s Discovery phase.
The right person for this role will have experience working with UX design from an adjacent industry to Sqreen (Security, Devtooling, APM or a very technical B2B SaaS product) while focusing on usability and the user journey.
This role can be based in our Paris office or remote across Europe (we currently have team members in 5 cities in France with others in Lisbon, London, Kiev and Edinburgh for example!)
💻 Day-to-day you'll:
> Design solutions solving our customers’ security challenges
> Work closely with design partners to lead them through discovery phase as well as presenting prototypes and ideas to challenge to help nurture relationships with them
> Define the high-level MVP journey, the foundation to the Sqreen Observe long term product strategy
> Create and establish the initial Design chapter cadence
> Consistently collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and the rest of the business
👉 About You:
> Low ego and high emotional intelligence (EQ)
> Excellent communication skills (we work in English in a distributed and international context)
> Excited to work in a fast growing startup environment
> Ability to reduce complex problems down to simple solutions
> Previous experience as a Product Designer with a strong UX focus in similar space as Sqreen (Security, Devtooling, APM or a very technical B2B SaaS product)
> Strong User Empathy - you have deep knowledge and understanding of what our users will want and need
> Experience building and executing with a design system (bonus)
