Moonstar is launching a new platform to build employee engagement and streamline fragmented operations for distributed, ‘multi-unit’ companies (such as retail).
Many of these companies are still highly inefficient, and no-one has truly cracked employee engagement which leads to high turnover. Operations and employee engagement are seen as two separate things, but they’re not. We’ll marry the two concepts by bringing engagement to workers’ everyday tasks to increase retention and performance.
This new product will be built off the back of our experience launching & growing a leading learning experiential platform launched in 2018. The learning platform was profitable a year after launch, and used by clients across Europe and Canada.
We are looking for an experienced freelance Product Designer to join us for 2-3 days a week, and lead the design process for our new product, StaffHub. You will work hand-in-hand with our Product Manager, Engineering and Founder & CEO to design our MVP, and continue with iterations thereafter.
We favour a fast-moving product development environment, working at ‘just enough’ fidelity to ensure we can get our ideas (or questions) in front of decision-makers and end-users for feedback. As such, experience in a startup environment is highly desirable, as is an approach that focuses on rapidly identifying and answering key questions vs. solely relying on gut feel.
Whilst a good amount of time will be spent in UX/UI design, extensive first-hand experience of different customer research techniques & workshop formats is desirable.
We’d also like to slightly iterate our visual identity, so some experience in branding would be a plus.
We intend to grow a fully distributed, remote team, so we are open to anyone based GMT +- 4 hours.
