Senior Product / UI Designer

Breezeway is looking for an experienced Product and UI Designer to bring their skills and passion to a fast-growing company with a talented team that is revolutionizing the way tenants, guests and owners interact with their property. As a Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to play a key role on our product team. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming and researching product initiatives, to tweaking pixels right before launch, to testing and gathering feedback from customers.

What you will do:

• Partner closely with product and engineering to translate business and client needs into an elegant but practical design that will deliver on key business metrics
• Ensure designs and user interfaces communicate consistent, effective experiences and messages across Desktop, Mobile Web, iOS, and Android
• Create and maintain our brand strategy, style guide and design best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to brainstorm new products, features and functionalities that enhance our mobile and web experiences
• Work with Product and Customer Support to drive user testing on new and existing features
• Build a deep understanding of users through market research, customer interviews, and usage studies and translate this understanding into succinct user stories

What you will bring to the team:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product and UI design
• Comfortable designing within iOS and Android native platform guidelines, and have portfolio examples to show it
• Online portfolio that showcases your design chops and demonstrates originality, innovation and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience shipping B2C or B2B products. Bonus if you’ve had experience working on SaaS or task management software products
• Are adaptable and comfortable getting scrappy
• Have experience advocating for quality with both customer facing and internal applications
• Excellent communicator who has conviction to champion your point of view, but can also successfully collaborate with others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment where continuous innovation and optimization is desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of leveraging their skills to optimize product development
• Proficient using Sketch
• Degree in Design or related field
