About the Team:

We're seeking a Mobile Design Engineer to join our Ramsey Design System (RDS) team. Ramsey Design System is our internal, shared collection of design and code assets which empowers our designers and engineers to create consistent, high-quality digital products for our fans. Instead of having to rebuild the same components over and over, RDS allows us to reuse proven components so that our product teams can focus on solving next-level customer problems.

What winning in this role looks like:

• Regularly interacting with users to understand their needs and creating solutions using fast iterations and prototyping in a highly collaborative way
• Being product-minded over tech-minded; prioritizing "shipping an experience to users" over "getting the tech just right"
• Being systems minded while still delivering real user value to individual product teams
• Being a mobile expert across many tech stacks and being relentlessly curious about all mobile tech options (e.g. web, native, hybrid, cross-platform, etc.)
• Learning new things—every day!

The skills you need to win:

• Strong competency in one or more cross-platform mobile frameworks, such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin
• Production deliveries on both iOS and Android with an example portfolio of available apps on the App Store and Google Play
• Experience building shared libraries in use across multiple teams and products and/or shared user experiences across web and mobile products
• Strong understanding of Google's Material Design and Apple's HIG and experience with building or leveraging design systems on mobile platforms
• Knowledge of animation systems, transition effects, and UX best practices is a plus!
• Experience with Agile product development (Scrum or Kanban preferred)
