Digital Product Designer

HyperJar is an ambitious young company, on a mission to rewrite the rules of how people grow, control and enjoy their money.

We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer with a bias towards UX who wants to help build a revolutionary visual way to manage your money. We have built an innovative foundation and now need to add magic to make it the most radical and intuitive money management app ever. HyperJar has a strong vision for its product and we need a creative and collaborative doer who excels at execution and turning ideas into product.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the user interface for our iOS and Android mobile apps
• Create innovative solutions to simplify complex flows and user options
• Implement good design practices and patterns
• Provide guidance and input into the user experience

• Expert with all aspects of working with Sketch
• Experience with Figma, AdobeXD, Framer, Proto.io, Flinto or other more precise prototyping tools
• Proficient in using Zeplin for uploading assets, screens and complete flows for iOS and Android
• Highly skilled in creating, developing and using UI pattern libraries and design systems for apps
• Strong bias to building working prototypes to test complex flows (from crude to sophisticated)
• Experience designing complex app flows including research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, testing

Ideal Profile

• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, believes in what we are doing (everyone in product needs to use our app personally so they can come up with the best ideas as a user)
• Creative and loves pushing design boundaries but able to take direction/debate constructively
• A strong bias to UX, huge attention to detail (seeing inconsistent UX drives them crazy!)
  
• Comfortable working with a very strong product vision to make it special/simple
• Very hands-on and comfortable being part of a small product team with large degrees of ownership and accountability
• Able to and sees the value in participating in in-person brainstorming/design sessions at our office in Paddington London
