UX Content Strategist

The Position

CallRail is looking for a full-time UX Content Strategist to write in-app content and support documentation for our evolving product. You’ll contribute to the content strategy for CallRail’s UX and Product team, and be an integral part of the product design process.

 

What You'll Do 

You will be responsible for writing content that is meaningful, consistent, and user-friendly. Here are some other things you’ll do:

• Collaborate across departments to ensure CallRail’s voice and tone is consistent
• Write, edit, review, and publish support documentation for CallRail’s Support site
• Facilitate the implementation of any necessary internal documentation for CallRail’s team
• Work with product managers and designers to create cohesive and user-friendly content for CallRail’s app
• Contribute to product launches by participating in go-to-market strategies and collaborating with cross-functional partners
• Create content that follows our Content Style Guide, and identify patterns and themes to further build our Style Guide

 

Desired Skills & Experience

• You know how to make complex tasks sound simple
• You have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (preferred, but not required)
• You’re familiar with UX writing principles and best practices for content design
• You think strategically and incorporate feedback from user research in your projects
• You adapt to a fast-moving and changing environment as the team and our product grows
• You have superior copywriting, grammar, and proofreading skills. Writing samples may be requested
• You can write meaningful, clear, and instructional content for help docs, headlines, buttons, and error messages
• You’re collaborative, flexible, and self-motivated. You’re thoughtful when giving team members feedback, and you’re an advocate for our users
• You have an eye for patterns, systems, and themes and help to maintain consistency across our projects and teams
