UX Designer

You will be someone who loves to work on challenging design problems and collaborate with product teams to ensure our customers have delightful experiences across all our products.

LineTen is a remote working company. Our products help businesses to capture online orders, to receive them in their POS system, and to book deliveries to their customers.
Job brief:

You will be responsible owning the comprehensive user experience with respect to one of our products. You’ll lead and conduct user and business research activities to understand requirements, and you’ll document user behaviour and optimal UI/UX design.

In this role you should be an analytical and creative researcher and designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems - typically by asking “5 whys”. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

Ultimately, you will make our products serve the needs of our customers better, through user-friendly and intuitive software that attracts and retains them.

Responsibilities include:

• Define the interaction and/or interface for new and existing products and features.

• Using customer-centric, data-informed design methodologies.

• Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs.

• Validate your designs through A/B testing and/or qualitative user research

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure we deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

• Our process is pretty fluid: you’ll develop prototypes, screenshots, wireframes - whatever gets the job done.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in a product design setting. Iterative environment preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree, a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline, or equivalent experience.

• A portfolio that demonstrates experience designing usable interfaces and interactions

• You are a skilled interaction and visual designer.

• Able to autonomously and continually improve the quality of our products.

• Experience with consumer web-based products a plus.

• Responsive, adaptive, email, and mobile a plus.
