Senior Digital Designer

Who we need

We are looking for an experienced Digital Designer with broad knowledge and advanced skills in user experience, user interface and visual design, and with a solid understanding of the latest technologies to lead the design of interactive projects. You will create the guidelines, architecture, user flows and navigation models that shape how people interact with products, as well as develop interface designs and screen layouts for an array of digital products and applications.

What will you do

• Bridge the gap between research insights and tangible concepts
• Make sense of complex systems, data and content and represent them in simplified models such as wireframes, user flow diagrams and application maps
• Refine concepts into meaningful narratives that meet business goals and adjust to technical feasibility
• Identify the right interaction patterns to apply in each context
• Create and test interactive prototypes
• Support the definition of roadmaps in collaboration with project managers and technology teams
• Collaborate fluidly with brand designers, project managers and engineers to ensure the feasibility of your visual concepts and that design specifications are implemented correctly, participating in bug tracking and fixing.
• Work with the Creative Director to ensure your design work exceeds client expectations throughout all phases of a project
• Contribute to the creation of digital design systems
• Mentor and coach junior designers
• Embrace challenges with flexibility and a positive, entrepreneurial attitude.

Who you are

• 3+ years of professional interaction design experience (although you might have worked previously as a UX/UI designer, product designer, or visual designer)
  
• More UI than UX oriented
• Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in a portfolio website brimming with gorgeous examples of digital applications and interaction design
• Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods, including motion UI
• Confident presentation and storytelling abilities to explain your ideas to client stakeholders and to ideate the best means to present your conceptual work
• Experience collaborating in multifunctional teams as well as experience taking full ownership for projects
• Experience working with software engineering teams to ensure accurate, high quality visual design implementation
• Business-level English is a must

It would be great, if you also had:

• A university degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related design or behavioural science discipline
• Experience working in a variety of organisations (start-up, corporate, agency/consultancy)
• Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designer
