As a Junior Product designer, you will be working directly with the Senior Product Designer & Design Lead, designing and developing entirely new products and features from ideation to completion, at a lightning fast pace. The role demands bold innovation, obsession with quality, fearlessness, and optimism to be inspired by the unknown!
What you'll do:
- Participate and assist during new product brainstorm sessions
- Build wireframes and prototypes to tackle difficult UX problems
- Obsess over the details
- Refactor older designs to be in line with our new design systems
- Collaborate with engineers to address unforeseen issues
Basic Qualifications
- Figma
- 1+ Years of experience designing and shipping digital products across web and mobile (iOS & Android)
- A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
- A track record of shipping phenomenal design, and an understanding of what details matter at each stage of the release cycle
- Ability to move incredibly fast
Nice to have's:
- Experience with Webflow
- Effective prototyping skills
- Collaborative working style, and an ability to partner with different functions
- Love of critique, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
Covid-19
The health and safety of our team always comes first. Currently all of BrokerBay is working remotely and is as productive as ever! We're engaging in fun ways while working from home, and will be returning to the office when appropriate.
Our office is located at 90 Sumach in downtown Toronto.
