Our Role
As a Product Designer at Kelvin, you’ll work on with a small but high-velocity team to take projects from ideation through final specs and iterations. You’ll help solve complex problems for technicians, engineers, and data scientists—like charts to monitor pressure levels, tools to connect new machines to our system, and workflows to create and adjust control models.

Design is a key differentiator for our product, as we replace antiquated automation systems for an evolving user base. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other designers to bring your work to life. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our product—from influencing the roadmap, doing in-depth user research, and weighing technical constraints and tradeoffs.

You’ll be the Right Fit if…
? You embrace constructive criticism as part of the design process and can clearly articulate your design decisions
? You’re not afraid to fail and iterate quickly
? You’re comfortable presenting your work to a room of stakeholders
? You’re excited to work on a highly technical product, alongside PhDs in physics, machine learning, and mechanical engineering

Requirements
? 3+ years of experience designing digital products
? A portfolio showcasing your design process as well as shipped work
? Experience designing features from research through development
? A track record of using research and analytics to influence design decisions

Bonus Points
