Senior Product Designer

Signavio is looking for a Senior Product Designer to act as a user advocate and experience keeper. In this role, you will support the Product Lead and Owners in deciding what is the right approach to solve a problem from a customer perspective. You will support the development team to clarify expected behavior and understand how users would use the product through your deep understanding of customers needs and expectations. You will be based from our Headquarters in Berlin and report directly to the Head of Product Design.

Description

• Collaborate with the customers and users to conceptualize the desired customer-centric solution. You will achieve this via conducting user research, user tests, usability tests and general feedback gathering.
• Create personas through user research.
• Define the right interaction model and product behavior.
• Evaluate product usability successes.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs.
• Finds creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability).
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and other stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.

Requirements

• You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of agile design principles.
• Your portfolio will showcase consumer focused software products in the B2B domain.
• The ability to clearly communicate and explain design decisions will come naturally to you.
• At least one year in a senior design role.
• Exceptional user interface design skills and great attention to detail.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch.
• Basic JavaScript and CSS programming skills are a plus.
• Fluency in English, German is a plus.
