 Your Role:  

As the UI/UX Designer of FF Online team, you’ll lead the definition of User Experiences and secure web & mobile sites/apps. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and developers to explore, create, and refine ways in which our user engage with Faraday Future. 

The ideal candidate has experience in enterprise solutions, robust holistic thinking, deep attention to detail, and a passion for creating simple and delightful experiences for customers. Collaboration and product ownership is essential, requiring you to be a great communicator, and successfully present and align with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to work with ambiguity and deliver designs that elevate the FF Online experience as a whole.

Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver user-centered designs (including wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and prototypes), informed by customer research, and market analysis across multiple devices and platforms 
  • Participate in the planning process for new features and projects while collaborating with an agile, multi-disciplinary team 
  • Introduce, develop, and ensure best design practices, processes and communicate quality expectations organizationally 
  • Own the production of world-class deliverables and documents for presentation to engineers, managers, peer design teams, and senior executives 
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout all FF Online projects and platforms 
  • Enhance the functionality, graphical and interactive elements of FF Online platforms 
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for users 
  • Stay relevant with current and trending technologies and suggest new ways to engage with users 
  • Design flows and experiences that are intuitive and elegant 
  • Give and solicit feedback from team members in order to continually raise our bar for quality 
  • Incorporate user research and usability testing to iterate on product solutions 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • An online or digital portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth in UX and visual design, conceptual thinking, and creative problem solving across platforms 
  • 8+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role 
  • 7+ years of experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wire-frames for complex web applications and/or workflows 
  • 5+ years of experience working in direct collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders for implementation of designs 
  • An online portfolio demonstrating samples of enterprise work and UX deliverables (wireframes, journey maps, personas) is required to apply for this role 
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree 
  • Related experiences with eCommerce or Auto industry are plus 
  • Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Zeplin and other industry tools 
  • Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout 
  • Result-focused, team oriented 
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to translate business and user requirements into high-fidelity concepts 
  • Understanding of good user experience and web conventions 
  • A creative curiositycollaborative ethichardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision 
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies 
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting 
  • A genuine fascination to improve user experiences through design and commitment to global change
