That’s where you come in. We’re looking for an experienced UX Writer who can take something complicated and make it simple, crisp, and even fun. As the first UX writer, you’ll be responsible for developing copy that will sound extraordinary throughout our entire product — from the grace note of a tooltip to the depth of a technical support article. No matter the medium, you’ll pen simple, engaging copy to help customers adopt, use, and love our products. You’ll work with engineers, PMs, privacy pros, and more to ensure that what we say is accurate, relevant, and compelling — and always packaged in plain language that both delights and leaves the jargon behind.
To excel, you’ll need to develop deep technical expertise and domain knowledge across multiple, complex product areas. You’ll also be responsible for developing scalable and repeatable processes to ensure that product copy and supporting content are high-quality, consistent, and cohesive. And you’ll help others communicate in a way that is consistent with TerraTrue’s brand, voice, and tone.

Minimum requirements
- A passion for words and the role that content plays in great product experiences
- Outstanding writing, editing, and plays-well-with-others skills
- A smart portfolio that shows how you think and write
- 5+ years of professional writing experience
- Experience establishing a UX writing process
- Ability to balance multiple projects on tight timelines
- Experience collaborating with writers, visual designers, and subject-matter experts
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred qualifications
- UX writing experience at a B2B SaaS company
- Familiarity with source code written in Java, JavaScript, or both would be great
- Appreciation for what it’s like to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Knowledge of privacy or security is a huge plus
