We’ve realized that the fitness apps we have been using create digital-only, artificial relationships. Their virtual leaderboards, remote coaching or training plans that are to be followed in living rooms made us stay at home. That’s so wrong – technology should be enabling us to do more, not less.
As the founders of a global urban fitness movement Midnight Runners and one of the world's most popular video sharing apps Dubsmash we know exactly what it takes to build a fitness community and a scalable mobile app.

We are now searching for a phenomenal UX/UI Designer who is passionate about an active lifestyle to join our team and help us take our product and company to the next level. We are looking for someone who can iterate fast, work hard, make pragmatic decisions and find new ways to solve fun, interesting, and meaningful challenges every day.
What does an UI/UX Designer do at myCrew?
At myCrew we see product at the core of everything we do. You will be the one sitting in the driver seat of our UI/UX efforts. You will be setting the platform’s tone and design our guidelines. You will be shaping the look and feel of our user experience. Together with our passionate and strong tech and product people you will design and build a first class app for our millennial audience. myCrew is bold, aspirational and cool. Now, this is what you gonna do:
- Develop concepts into screen flows and diagrams
- Produce high-fidelity wireframes and design sketches
- Produce detailed design and interaction specifications
- Design for a range of devices, like smartphone (mainly), tablet and web
- Collaborate with the head of product, developers and other stakeholders
- Research solutions to design challenges (for example: look up what libraries / controls are available for our development environment React Native)
- Suggest effective copy for the mobile app
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years experience using Sketch or Illustrator in a professional role
- A phenomenal portfolio of work outlining your expertize in designing mobile apps
- Proven familiarity with and knowledge of iOS and Android design patterns
- Knowledge of UX best practices and up to date with the latest design trends
- Visual design skills - especially typography & layout
- Experience with agile development practices
- Prototyping skills
- Experience with UI component libraries / style guides
- Attention to details: considering different scenarios and states of the app
- Consistency across all of the assets you produce
- Excellent knowledge of the English language to suggest effective copy for the app
- Independent work, a good intuition and cultural awareness

We work from a laid back part of Venice. We're located a 2 minutes walk from the beach, around the corner from trendy cafés (Rose Cafe & Firehouse) and super close to the famous Gold's Gym. We have space for your bike, surfboard and wetsuit. The fridge is full of fresh fruit and we have a shower if you need to refresh after a dip in the ocean or your morning bike commute.
