About the Job

The goal of this 8-week internship is primarily focused on user research projects. This internship is an opportunity to learn about the music industry, and gain professional experience with UX, scrum, and product development, in a fun and productive environment while introducing fresh energy & perspectives to the team. Our goal is to give back by sharing our expertise through communication and teaching.

The UX Intern will assist our Product Designers with day-to-day tasks including, remote usability testing & user research, UI audit & design system project, documenting analytics baselines, and competitive reviews. The UX Research Intern will report directly to Director of Product Management but will also work with other departments.

What We Are Looking for In You

In addition to being a great student and having a strong resume, the ideal applicant should identify their personal or professional interests in the music industry in their cover letter. We hope that you will gain hands on professional experience in a fast paced remote work environment, as well as complete projects that can be added to your portfolio. 

Commitment

Flexible 32-40 hours a week for a minimum of eight consecutive weeks starting in July.

This internship is fully remote; CD Baby will provide a work laptop if needed.

It may be necessary to visit our office in NE Portland, where we adhere to all CDC recommendations to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Our main office has free parking and is served by the MAX Red line.
