System1 is looking for a Sr UX Designer to join our team! We are a dynamic and fast paced environment, and our owned-and-operated content sites and experiences attract tens of millions of users per month. System1, as a data driven organization, leverages detailed interaction data with a sophisticated A/B testing platform in order to improve and optimize the consumer experience. This role will lead our efforts to explore new concepts and layouts to improve the KPIs for our consumer facing sites, designing a diverse set of UX needs.
The Role You Will Have
- Harness internal design and engineering resources to create best-in-class UX design processes within System1
- Lead the UX process and implementation of deliverables using wireframes, competitive research, technical feasibility assessments, proof of concept documents, user flows, use cases, user scenarios, functional prototypes, and stakeholder interviews
- Utilize a data-driven and research approach to inform decisions on the design strategy for various products, helping drive alignment and roadmap prioritization across business lines
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ideate and create UX strategies that meet stated KPIs
- Ensure ongoing improvement to key KPIs
- Support Product Managers and Engineers in scoping and roadmapping the long term goals of various products
- Help to build out a library of reusable components and UI conventions
- Create a framework to turn broad concepts into useful, tangible products
What You Will Bring
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work in user experience and interaction design
- Comprehensive understanding and thought leadership on usability and user centered design principles
- Solid prototyping experience
- Extensive knowledge of mobile and responsive design
- Strong proficiency with analytical tools
- Basic understanding of web technologies
- Experience as a successful designer in the affiliate marketing/performance and marketing/ad tech space preferred
- Ability to work on disparate features and manage them accordingly
- Experience working with diverse teams in a dynamic and growing environment
