UX / UI Designer

We are seeking a talented designer to work alongside our Head of Marketing and Product Manager to help them enhance website (desktop & mobile) and product design in terms of UX. You will also be working to achieve increased responsiveness and agility in product design for any changes/new additions needed, as we are currently dependent on long feedback loops with external agencies who will never make quick fixes.

The role will be based at our Central London office.

You will be working on:

• Conducting UX competitive analyses of other websites (that operate in the same industry)

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product manager

• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

• Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

• Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

• Designing graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs, and widgets

• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, tables)

• Building page navigation buttons and search fields

• Tracking usability goals and prepare reports for senior management

• Identifying and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

• Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback

• Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images

• Conducting usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and create report showcasing findings

Goals and remit (KPIs):

• System Usability Scale (SUS)
• Task success rate (or task completion rate)
• Time on task (average time spent on each task)
• Net Promotion Score (NPS)
• Trustpilot score

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• 2-3 years proven work experience as UX/UI designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, ambitious, detail-orientated
• Good time management skills
• BA/BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
