Why do we need you?

We are looking for an entry level researcher for our newly founded User Experience Research team. As our Junior UX Researcher, you will be an integral part of evaluating and testing a wide range of Blinkist experiences - and contribute to our empathetic approach to design. This is an opportunity for you to hone your research skills with guidance and mentorship from more senior members of the team. If you’re excited by the idea of deeply understanding and advocating for our customers, readers and listeners, then this job is for you!

What you will do

  • Develop a strong understanding of our users and customers through managing and conducting user interviews and tests

  • Work closely with the Design and Product teams to support research projects in a timely manner

  • Plan, execute, debrief and synthesise research across various different platforms and methods

  • Recruit and coordinate research participants based on target audiences and project priorities

  • Make your research impactful with credible presentations and reports on observations, insights and usability findings to the Design and Product teams

  • Become an advocate for Blinkist users in the product development process; inspire teams about research with insights and by answering on-hand questions

  • Be an enthusiastic member of the Design team —  knowing when to ask for support, whilst graciously accepting feedback on your work

What’s in it for you?

At Blinkist, we offer a fantastic workplace in the heart of Berlin-Neukölln including all the benefits you’d expect – from a personalized perk system to free private language lessons. Add free lunch, a competitive salary, a personal development budget of 1,500€ per year, flexible working hours, and a meaningful product on the rise, and you have a first impression of why Blinkist is a great place to work.

We got rid of classical management hierarchies and, instead, distributed authority among all colleagues. We foster a unique company culture championing self-empowerment, personal development, direct communication and mutual support. Not only do we want you to grow into the role of Junior UX Researcher, but we want this role to grow with you.

If we’ve captured your interest and you want to help us build the leading destination for the modern lifelong learner, apply now and let us know why you’re the perfect fit for the job!
