Designit seeks a Senior UX Designer to join one of our commercial real estate clients. This is a fully remote W2 contract role that may extend through 2022.
*This position is not available for Visa sponsorship or C2C work.*
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer with experience leading projects to successful outcomes for users and business. You will serve as a senior UX designer for an existing mobile digital tool, setting the direction for rounds of product iteration, conducting research and exploration to identify opportunities, and creating additional UI elements for expanding functionality. There is possibility to also provide UX Product Design for a web and portal design efforts as well.
Would you like to…
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to help define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, experience, and visuals
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity to complex design requirements
- Document the user experience through mock ups, design specs, and prototype demos
- Partner with Product Team to ideate on product direction and new feature sets
- Work with Product Management to translate UX solutions into user stories
- Create and communicate design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
- Present design solutions to internal teams and business stakeholders
- Execute UX and visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wire frames, user flows/journeys, and site maps that communicate interaction design concepts
- Aid in user research studies/evaluation
- Experience with mobile products and a solid Android grounding
- Experience with end-to-end product development
We would like you to have...
- 5+ years professional experience in UX or related field
- 2+ years’ experience designing for mobile with a focus on Android and iOS
- Online portfolio that demonstrates strong understanding of UX and UI design
- Clear understanding of core UX principles (UI design, information architecture, and product definition etc.)
- Highly proficient with current design and prototyping tools, especially Figma
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Experience working in direct collaboration with product leadership, development managers, and business stakeholders
- Experience with scrum and agile development environments
- Experience with web and portal design
