UI Designer


VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices across Australia, San Francisco, Toronto, Malta and the Philippines we are on a mission to be the biggest gaming company in the world!

Due to hyper growth we are expanding our Product Management team in San Francisco and currently looking for a UI Designer to join the team. 


In this role you will work with our team of PMs, slot game artists, and engineers to bring our visions of fun to life: all the way from wireframes to finished in-game UI art and animation.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creates UI icons, dialog elements, and other interaction assets within the brand 
  • Playtests often to maintain quality and consistency of the brand 
  • Works with Artists, PMs, and Engineers to take our UI visuals and animation to the next level 
  • Work through all user flows, identifying edge cases and usability challenges and proposing insightful solutions 

What you will bring to the role:

  • BA degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a closely related discipline 
  • At least 1 year of experience as a UI/UX Designer in game development ● Solid UX, art, graphic design and motion graphics/animation knowledge 
  • Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop 
  • A compelling UI/UX portfolio, including both wireframe and finished UI work, that displays proficiency in all stages of feature development 
  • Capacity to scope, plan, and deliver work on time to meet project dates
  • Ability to create and contribute to a style for a game's UI and interactivity that is very appealing, intuitive, and consistent with the brand
