Your Opportunity
The UX Researcher aims to gather information from users by way of a variety qualitative and quantitative methods, including online analytic tools, user interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, etc. The UX Researcher will analyze the information gathered and synthesize that data in order to improve usability and move our products forward. Working closely with the product management and client success teams to understand project requirements and the needs and goals of our end users, the UX Researcher will apply a methodical approach to how we: 1) gather data 2) analyze data 3) recommend solutions 4) validate 5) improve.

Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with product teams to define and prioritize high-impact research aimed at improving user experience;
    • Deliver UX insights that evaluate designs and fuel ideation;
    • Use various quantitative and qualitative research methods to evaluate all aspects of the end-user’s interaction with our products;
    • Use data visualization tools to communicate findings and recommendations to key internal stakeholders;
    • Develop user flows and low fidelity wireframes to evaluate interaction with the product to inform design improvements;
    • Define high-level interaction experience, site architecture and navigation, as well as design user flows and experience;
    • Lead and/or participate in target audience needs analysis and usability testing;
    • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure our product is complete, usable, accessible, and responsive;
    • Map out the structure of content and system to accomplish the goals defined by key stakeholders;
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that the copy is appropriate and provides proper context.

Technical Competencies

    • 3-5 years directly related experience;
    • Demonstrated wire-framing and qualitative research skills;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills, market research, report writing and facilitation;
    • Demonstrated skill in wire-framing software, heat map software, as well as graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Sketch, and HotJar;
    • Demonstrated skill in analytics software (i.e. Google Analytics);
    • Working experience within an Agile Software Development Framework, particularly Scrum methodologies;
    • Experience with Atlassian tools including, but not limited to, JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, and Confluence;
    • Energetic, positive, motivational leader and creative problem solver with willingness and confidence to speak directly with clients;
    • Great relationship management amongst teams and individuals.
