Product at Tessian

At Tessian, our mission is to keep the world’s most sensitive data and systems private and secure. Our platform uses machine intelligence to understand human communication at scale, allowing us to protect some of the world’s largest organisations from threats executable by humans.

As we enter a new phase of growth, we are looking for a UI & UX Designer to help us build the next-generation of information security for the enterprise.

For us, building a modern machine learning platform for enterprise requires a paradigm shift from traditional product management. Our product team focuses on the ‘why’ and the ‘what’, and then works collaboratively with our technical engineering teams to establish the ‘how’ and our marketing team to craft the narrative.

We are still early on in our journey, so there are plenty of opportunities to help define how we think about product here, the processes we create and how we measure ourselves and the impact we have.

We’re not a typical cybersecurity company, and we need someone who can communicate this through impactful UI and UX design. In 2018, we went through a full visual rebrand orchestrated by the design team behind Airbnb, Deliveroo and BlaBlaCar. Now we need to translate that identity into the product.

As the first dedicated UI or UX designer on the team, you will lead a complete redesign of our online portal. This will include creating beautiful, yet powerful analytics dashboards and ensuring that our increasingly complex platform is easy to configure.

As a Product Designer you will:
-Work with our Product Managers and Engineers to ensure our complex products have a best-in-class user experience
-Design analytics dashboards to communicate insights from massive data sets
-Create flexible components that can be used throughout our new
-React portal Help develop the Tessian design system
