Lead UI/UX Designer

We currently are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer who is a motivated and an influential addition to the team to take part in our continued success and growth.  The successful candidate will also be an energetic self-starter with a passion for technology and software products. He/she will be results-driven, ambitious and enthusiastic about making an impact with an agile, venture-backed, Y Combinator alum start-up.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management, engineering and UX to define and implement innovative solutions to build LogDNA's digital experience 
• Apply UX fundamentals to lead the full design process and translate concepts into wire frames and mock ups that lead to intuitive user experiences for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications, and apply expert stakeholder management skills to communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders
• Maintain and improve Visual Design Elements such as interface components and styles
• Assists in developing and documenting style through the creation of style guides and delivery mock-ups
• Keep up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in user interface experience design
• Must have experience working in a SaaS environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of user centered design, information architecture, responsive design, and interactive design best practices
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
• Strong UX and design sense
• Great communication skills – ability to effectively pitch design concepts and articulate design decisions to senior management
• Can efficiently work in a collaborative coding environment
• Keen attention to detail with a desire for pixel perfection
• Curiosity and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong communication skills
