Legacybox

Legacybox is serious about good design. Good design is both aesthetically beautiful and highly actionable. As a Designer at Legacybox you will create engaging email campaigns, display ads, web experiences packaging and print materials.

We currently operate three e-commerce brands, Legacybox, Southtree and KODAK Digitizing Box, all of which help preserve old analog media on DVDs and digital files delivered on thumb drives or digital download. Your job will be to understand our core user and to design experiences that meet his or her expectations while reflecting our brands and personality.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Ability to translate high-level requirements into wireframes, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces
  • Define the user experience so that is relates and reflects the Southtree's brands (simple, personable, and fun)
  • Stay up-to-date on latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Build strong, supportive and constructive relationships across the team
  • Provide input for editorial and product photography that supports larger digital brand vision, voice and goals

Background and Experience

  • 0-3 years of design experience in a demanding and professional environment
  • BFA encompassing formal design training, or equivalent work experience
  • Compelling portfolio demonstrating design skills
  • Strong sense of typography, composition, and color
  • Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects demanding a varied creative skill set
  • Possess a strong taste and aesthetic point of view
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Proficiency in Sketch, a plus
