About the role

The design team is growing! We’re looking for a UX research that is motivated, self-starter. You will be a cross-functional partner responsible for driving research initiatives across the organization to bring more clarity to our product and design strategies. The foundation of your research will be qualitative in nature, bridging the gap between qualitative and quantitative data to surface meaningful customer insights to the sales, marketing and product teams. As our first UX Researcher at an early-stage startup, you have an opportunity to make a substantial impact on the product, processes, and company.

In this role you will

Building research practices from the ground
Lead and apply various research methods to investigate complex customer problems
Define the research practice and the processes for continuous discovery of user insights
Collaborate across the organization to coordinate and conduct research initiatives
Translate customer needs into actionable insights that guide product, design, and marketing decisions
Work with design to create personas, customer journey maps, and other artifacts to visualize the research insights
Advocate for customer goals, needs and pain points throughout the whole design process
Present customer insights regularly across the organization and to leadership

What we’re looking for

Multi-faceted researcher with experience using various research methods
Someone with 4+ years experience in leading and conducting UX research
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research
Experience with conducting research for complex SaaS products
Detailed-oriented and always pushing for high quality research insights
Ability to calibrate research efforts for quick-twitch to more in-depth discovery
Ability to prioritize and conduct multiple research initiatives simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
