Lead Product Designer

Center

Center is seeking a talented product designer to join our core team.

What We Do

  • Center is building the NFT infrastructure for the internet. We make it easy for builders to build NFT-enabled apps.

  • Today, building NFT apps is incredibly time consuming. Imagine if in order to put up a personal website, you first had to crawl the entire internet. That would make launching a website pretty hard, right? That's exactly the case with NFTs today.

  • We eliminate all this complexity for builders. Instead of spending months of engineering time building NFT infrastructure, developers use Center's APIs to search, show, and interact with NFTs on 14 blockchains.

How We Got Here

  • We've spent the last year building and now we're ready to share what we've built with the world. We were heads down and focused on building the infrastructure during the bull market; and now we're expanding aggressively despite the bear market.

  • We recently closed an $11M fundraise led by Thrive and Founders Fund (see more here) and are beginning our go-to-market efforts and we need someone who can help bring Center's UI/UX to the level commensurate with infrastructure we've built for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll have a wide range of responsibilities and the ability to shape Center's design - everything ranging from web interfaces, design systems, and overall experience that our customers have with our products.

  • You'll own the customer-facing product experience and will have final say (and also responsibility) for product design and user experience.

  • You will partner with our engineering team on implementing and iterating on new features.

  • As we grow, you will have the option to build Center's product and design teams if this is a path that you'd like to pursue.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping web products.

  • Deep understanding and intuition of user-centered design methods. I.e you can back up design intuitions by talking to users.

  • Expertise with Figma and ability to quickly learn new tools.

  • A great eye for detail, demonstrating creative and innovative problem-solving.

  • Focus on user experience, flows, and user research.

  • Notably: crypto experience is a nice-to-have, but not required.

Location

  • Remote OK.

  • We also have an office in Palo Alto, CA.
