UX Design Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand product specifications and user psychology
• Develop, communicate, and implement the user experience for various technology products
• Create personas through user research and data
• Conduct usability testing, gather feedback and find creative ways to solve UX problems
• Create user flows and wireframes based on feedback, data, research, and testing
• Work with design team to create mockups based on wireframes
• Manage all company wireframes and mockups in Invision
• Work as part of the design team, while performing UX needed tasks for all departments
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
• Perform metrics analysis to inform on design/UX optimization efforts

Requirements

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to be considered for full-time employment

• 3+ years as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or art/creative director emphasizing in user experience

• Knowledge and experience in UX, data driven research, user flows, and interface design
• Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role
• Strong online portfolio of innovative, user-centered design projects
• Background in project management and research
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools (InVision, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in digital design, human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, or equivalent professional experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience working in an agile development (agile/scrum/waterfall) process.
• Excellent persuasion and presentation skills to build buy-in for an innovative, strategic vision.
• A proven track record of presenting to, and influencing senior management
• Angular JavaScript coding experience
