Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

You will be an integral part of our growth strategy from day one.  We have already begun the rapid scaling up of our team to meet client demand for our services.  We need you to help refine, manage, and optimize our performance as we continue to speed up.  You’ll need to be able to operate as a player/coach, helping to deliver today while being capable of growing and leading our UX team as we scale.

You will work hand in hand with our Creative Director and others on the team to support our clients in the Healthcare, Association, and Higher Education verticals. You’ll be entrusted to engage in research, planning, conceptualization, and visual design for our diverse portfolio of clients. 

On a daily basis, you’ll be given the opportunity to build and maintain deep relationships with clients as you leverage your UX and design skillset  to help move their audiences to action.  You’ll also support business development efforts to support the ongoing growth of our client list.

Critical Qualifications

We don’t necessarily expect you to hit all of these bullet points, but we will be looking for the following:
·         A strong, compelling vision for how positive, high performing teams and cultures are built, and demonstrated success implementing such a vision within a creative organization
 
·         At least ten years of prior experience in the web/digital design world with experience that reflects creativity, attention to detail, and a user-centered design approach
 
·         Relevant formal education as well as experience that demonstrates your ability to take on the challenges faced by our team as we scale and to deliver results for our client
 
·         Deep competence with information architecture, user experience design and typography for the web as well as an understanding of the application of accessibility standards (WCAG / 508 compliance)
 
·         Familiarity with business development processes, the ability to support the onboarding of new clients, and the desire to provide thought leadership through blogs or other content
 
·         Outstanding leadership skills that can be utilized to provide advice and guidance to peers and junior team members
