Catena Media is an online marketing company driving the way forward, for lead generation. We do this by creating high traffic websites, that help build high-value relationships between our customers and partners. Our clients, seek out our methods to enhance their online presence and gain exposure. To help us do this, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Designer to join our awesome team in Malta!
SCOPE OF THE JOB:
- As our Product Designer, you will be responsible for translating our company strategy into product features. We're looking for a person who's motivated to continuously improve the user experience and add value for the end user. Every one of our projects is a team effort and you’ll need to work well with directors, product owners, other designers and developers along the way.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Craft high-fidelity interaction designs and efficient user flow wireframes
- Provide detailed design specs to our product dev team
- Design rapidly and iteratively on initial UX concepts, wireframes, and user flows, informed by user research, trends, and your best ideas
- Create detailed design specifications that can be handed-off to developers for implementation
- Revise and update designs and documentation based on user testing and customer feedback
- Work with engineers and QA to ensure the successful implementation of a design
TO DO THIS, YOU WILL NEED:
- 2+ year's experience designing interfaces for web and mobile devices
- Experience creating and managing a design system would be an asset
- Skilled at using modern design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Framer, Invision etc
- Visual and interaction design skills, but you’re also comfortable talking about systems and strategies
- Comfortable owning a project, helping scope it and driving it to shipping stage
- To think in terms of responsive, scalable systems, not one-off solutions
- To breathe optimisation and testing
- An ability to understand audiences, business objectives and deliver solutions that work for both
- To consider yourself as someone who wants to sweat over details like easing functions, data visualisation and the delightful details that make a product special
