About the Product & Design team
At Attest, the Product & Design team spend their time obsessing over what our customers and users need, the challenges they face and the solutions we can come up with to help make their everyday life better. We try and balance that with exploring great new ideas and innovative features which will transform the way research is carried out. From coming up with the overall product strategy, to making sure individual features are well defined, and compelling user interface designs are created, we care about it all. We work closely with our amazing engineering squads to turn our ideas into a reality.
About the role
We’re looking for a rockstar Product Designer to join our design team who’s passionate about everything design. You’ll be working with one of our squads to improve our product and come up with new ideas on how we can make it even better.
Who you are
We're looking for a team player who’s collaborative and creative, with a genuine love for enabling complex workflows in simple and elegant ways. You should have a true passion for functional, intuitive and beautifully simple design.
You are a user-driven person who puts “them” before themselves and a learner, who’s happy to experiment or learn new skills to build a unique experience used by many thousands of users with very high standards.
You should be comfortable running an entire design process autonomously from research to delivery and someone who is constantly looking to improve existing products, and finding opportunities for the product.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who can bring some of these things to the table:
- A deep understanding and experience of building mobile-optimised web/app products.
- Good product thinking with a very strong understanding of interaction design, UX & UI principles, information architecture and new/best practices, based on real experience and passion for solving complex design problems.
- 3 or more years experience as a UX / UI designer or product designer, including substantial experience designing responsive mobile optimised web/app products.
- A high-quality portfolio, that demonstrates your quality and passion.
- Fluency with - SketchApp, InVision, Adobe CC or similar design and prototyping tools. Strong attention to detail and mastery of typography, colour and layout.
- You are a strong team player, with a collaborative and thoughtful style.
- A results-driven approach, with proactive use of analytics tools & data to inform design decisions.
- You are self motivated and entrepreneurial and well-suited to design quickly, innovate and iterate.
- Experience with some of the following things would be would be great, but not essential (and we can help you learn!): coding or basic understanding of HTML5 & CSS; Origiami Studio or Framer; and animations and transitions.
