About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to work alongside one of our largest and most prestigious clients, a household name. Although still working from home part of the week, this role is based onsite at our client’s office in Melbourne CBD.

We are open to discussing whether this is a permanent role or contract, depending upon the candidate.

The role requires someone who has a strong UI and UX background and that can create a compelling case for all design recommendations. Some of the daily activities you can expect are:

Collaborating with a team of Business Analysts, Developers and Data Analysts as well as the Client Partner, to analyse and translate current client needs into tangible product(s)
Exploring and uncovering actionable customer insights
Educating internal/client teams on Design best practices
Communicating with key client stakeholders, negotiating for the best customer outcome in a respectful and helpful way

About You

Experience working as a UI/UX designer within an agency/consultancy or in-house environment
You have several years experience with modern UI tools, such as Sketch and ideally, Figma
Experience in having lead client engagements
Strategy background or interest in business development
Strong stakeholder management experience and workshop facilitation
Experience design experience
User research experience
