We’re looking for a versatile Senior UI Designer for a short term contract to work on some exciting projects for us over the next two to three months!

Our ideal candidate will have experience of a senior role and be used to working in close partnership with the Design Lead/Creative Director.

We're looking for a candidate with passion for all things Design and you’re able to use your craft to bring to life user experiences across all channels. Ideally you will have a design thinking methodology that enables you to produce from scamp to concept and to a refined end product. You should have a strong understanding of atomic design for design systems across web and mobile.

Your portfolio should demonstrate a variety of work and include CMS projects, not just campaign work.

YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO:

Craft beautiful UI designs
Create prototypes to sell in concepts or user testing
Execute all stages from concept to final hand-off to development teams
Demonstrate a passion and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UI and
technology trends
Execute at all stages from concept to final hand-off to dev teams
Feedback in daily stand ups and proactively communicate project status
Establish, promote, and support design principles, best practices and accessibility standards

WHO YOU ARE:

You are a self-starter who is energetic, pragmatic and welcoming of new challenges.
You are an established Designer with strong design principles and can happily work through a
discovery process taking insights into developing concepts, through testing and on to final
delivery.
Capable of managing your own workload effectively and prioritising tasks in order to meet
deadlines
You must be able to present your work with sound rationale - the gentle art of persuasion is a must
You have a can do attitude and turn your hand to any creative challenge - a startup mindset
You have a good understanding of the design process
A conceptual thinker
You are familiar with agile methodologies/ sprint based ways of working
You understand the partnership between UX and UI.

SKILLS:

Good client facing skills
You must be able to present your work with sound rationale - the gentle art of persuasion is a must
Lead and participate in creative workshops
Adobe suite
Figma
Sketch (we’re transitioning to Figma)
Zeplin
Principle/Aftereffects (a bonus)
Good Storytelling
Experience of creating and using Design systems- animation skills would be beneficial
Proficiency in creating both low and high-fidelity prototypes.
