Overview of WorkHound’s Product Designer Position 

We’re looking for an exceptionally bright, kind, organized, and motivated person with a proven history of high performance to join WorkHound’s product team. You’ll be an early Product employee at WorkHound, helping to shape what we do (and don’t) build. Our goal is to delight our customers by bringing deep value to them every day. If you find satisfaction in understanding core problems and designing solutions that go beyond just building what is asked for, this is the role for you! WorkHound is transitioning from startup to scale-up. We need to establish and grow the product design practice. You’ll be an early team member and influential in shaping the direction of the team.

Collaborate with Product Managers to research, ideate, prototype, and collect feedback on both new features and redesigns of existing features.

Collaborate with Engineers to optimize user-flows, blending design with technical feasibility to create optimal UX

Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.

Create design systems and patterns that enable the Design and Engineering teams to be highly efficient and effective.

Document and share your knowledge and findings with the entire product team to scale yourself.

You’ll be helping to establish the design practice at WorkHound, so you’ll need to be comfortable creating the processes and systems that will help you collaborate with other team members.
