Our mission is to change the way we all use technology as everyday thousands of forgotten tech devices waste potential, lose value, and add pressure on the planet. The world currently generates 50 million tonnes of e-waste every year and that figure is set to double by 2050.

We want to allow everyone to give old tech a new life while saving the environment by reducing e-waste going into landfills and CO2 emissions. You can now easily sell, recycle, and trade in your old tech, through our self-service machines (Pods).

We have secured Series A private equity funding and contracts with major national retailers, Morrisons & Co-Op.

We are really proud of the astonishing results we have achieved so far but this is just the beginning! What you'll get up to:

As we carve out some ambitious growth plans for 2023, we are expanding the Spring team with a UX/UI Designer. You’ll work alongside fellow designers and developers to design digital products with a focus around sustainability and high social impact. You’ll be a vital part of the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing through to executing beautiful UI designs.

You’ll play a key part in the designing of both green and existing digital products, such as our customer dashboard re-design and the build of our new e-commerce store, kicking off in Q2 of this year. As part of our innovative design team, you’ll contribute towards the evolution of Spring's user experience and design across all platforms.

As UX/UI design on the team, you’ll produce wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces using Figma, the Adobe Suite and other modern tools. You’ll take a user-centred approach to rapidly test and iterate your designs, working closely with developers and the marketing team to oversee the successful delivery of our products.

About you:

• You’re passionate about creating world-class user experiences for customers, B2C experience under your belt a plus
• You have a clear portfolio to demonstrate your design abilities
• You are comfortable working collaboratively, with various areas of the business to gather insights and turn these into provoking designs
