Accruent's Associate UX/UI Designer will drive the success of our products through improving the user experience in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering. Product UI design areas will include: user interface, navigation, interaction design, accessibility, and business/user process engineering for all Accruent products.

We are looking for someone that is experienced in Figma and leveraging an established Design System to deliver solutions based on complex information architectures, medium fidelity workflow diagrams and mockups.

This position reports directly to the Manager, UX and will be located in any of our US locations.

**Portfolio/portfolio link submission is required to be considered for this position.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Creates outcome based UX designs for new products and existing products in Figma
  • Perform accessibility audits of applications and report progress
  • Conduct Voice of the Customer research to understand user needs such as heuristics, usability testing, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, app analytics and competitor evaluations to create forward-looking, usable and best in class new products
  • Design and assist to implement new user-interfaces and navigation to drive more efficient application workflow and improve the customer experience
  • Ensure a consistent user experience across all Accruent products
  • Work closely with multiple teams to ensure that the solution is accurately translated to the final application
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new technologies and best practices in website navigation, browsers, and usability.

What you bring to the table: 

  •  Bachelor's degree, preferred in a design-related discipline and/or certification from a UX-centric bootcamp
  • Quick learner with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  •  Experience with mobile-first design and responsive and adaptive design principles
  •  Familiarity with HTML and CSS for building interactive prototypes using Bootstrap 5+ will be a benefit
  • Highly motivated, engaging, able to work effectively within a team environment, and will stretch to deliver results on time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Please Note:

  • This job does not require travel domestically or internationally, 
  • This is a full-time, exempt opportunity. 
  • Relocation will not be considered for this position. 
  • At this time, visa sponsorship is not available. 

The salary range for this position is $60,600 - $112,500. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
