HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf – presently working on Console and PC. We have an opportunity for a UI/UX Artist to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.

As a UI/UX Artist, you will work with a team of professionals to build and maintain striking UI/UX art that delivers a coherent vision for one of the fastest growing sports game series in the industry!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the UI/UX aesthetic and other technical art efforts within the project.
• Collaborate with the team on a regular basis to identify and resolve artistic or technical issues expediently.
• Deliver content and art assets within the UI/UX pipeline and process.
• Contribute to the creative, feature, and technical documentation process.
• Support the organization of project schedules with input on effort estimates, assumptions, scope, and creative design.
• Create professional level motion graphics or animation.
• Develop and maintain creative briefs, wireframes, and style guides.
• Provide input to the improvement and evolution of systems, processes, and tools.
• Build positive working relationships across subject areas and participate in team meetings.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Typically, 2 to 4+ years of industry experience.
• Professional UI/UX experience in game development.
• Solid understanding of user experience and interface design.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience with Project Management (Jira, Confluence) tools.
• Experience with Game Engine and Source Control (Perforce or Git) software.
• Proven freehand drawing capability.
