Our suite of end-to-end foodservice technology solutions helps professionals across healthcare and aging services streamline their operations, save time, reduce food waste, and meet regulatory requirements, so they can focus on what matters most: improving the quality of patient and resident care.  

We’re looking for a Lead UX Designer to join our Product team. Reporting to the VP, Product, you’ll be improving and shaping the efficiency and functionality of our UX workflows and designs.  

A day in the life as a UX Lead:  

  • Employ user-centric design principles to develop, propose and deliver improvements to UX designs and workflows  
  • Create mock-ups and prototypes in Figma 
  • Adhere to brand standards to achieve a consistent look and feel across all MealSuite applications 
  • Work closely with the development team to translate design requirements and assess deliverables to ensure that requirements and expectations are successfully met  
  • Define and conduct useability tests; analyse and report findings and act accordingly 
  • Lead and mentor UX/UI Designers  

If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:  

  • I have knowledge of UX/UI design in a B2B SaaS setting 
  • I gained my knowledge through 5+ years of design experience for web and mobile applications, with 1-3 years in a leadership capacity  
  • I ideally have experience in healthcare technology or a related industry  
  • I have multiple years of experience wireframing/prototyping with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Creative Suite  
  • I have experience defining and executing useability testing with Userlytics, Useberry, or a similar tool 
  • I have basic familiarity with the software development lifecycle and design libraries  
  • I have a proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and propose/deliver solutions  
  • I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA 
  • I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate 
  • I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and develop my leadership skills
