We are looking for:
Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides managed services for a large tech video-sharing platform. We are seeking a UX Junior Designer to join our team to work with our client remotely. The UX Jr. Designer creates components to create product UI examples for marketing campaigns, localization, app store updates, etc.
This temporary full-time role is expected to run from May 2024 through December 2024, with the possibility to extend.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluating existing sites and products for usability
- Working with clients and colleagues to plan and implement new UX projects
- Carrying out research into users’ needs
- Using Figma to create mock-ups and prototypes
- Organizing and running user testing
- Making recommendations and planning changes based on user feedback
- Exploring and implementing other ways to gather and incorporate users’ feedback
- Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong design system thinking
- Able to expand pattern and adopt to new feature request on existing platform
- Detailed in design documentation
- Knowledge and access to different types of hardware
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a UX or Production Designer.
- Figma experience required, especially working with libraries and components.
- Ability to capture details accurately and consistently, and produce pixel-perfect assets.
- Experience in representing and advocating for UX concepts, such as user-centric design, accessibility, internationalization, etc.
- Experience implementing visual design systems across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
- Experience applying established brand and product principles to new projects
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
