RoEx is hiring UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI/UX designer to join RoEx on a contract basis. RoEx is an early-stage start-up, that is a spin-out company from the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) at Queen Mary University of London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user-centric digital products and a passion for music and technology.

Responsibilities:

 

• Understand user needs and design solutions that meet them
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience
• Continuously improve and iterate on existing product designs

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates a track record of designing successful digital products
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma etc.
• Understanding of responsive design and the ability to design for multiple devices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge and interest in music technology are a plus

This is a contract position and the duration of the contract is negotiable based on the candidate's availability.
